Post Congress Tour

After two days with interesting lectures, workshops and presentations, it's time for a day of relaxation and to explore the Netherlands! The venue of our exciting Post Congress Tour for this year will be Volendam! Volendam is a old Dutch village with little authentic houses and a traditional harbor. Together with your new friends and the ISCOMS organization we will leave early in the morning with buses to a typical Dutch village.

This is a unique opportunity for you to discover the authentic culture of the Netherlands.
We will visit the museum of Volendam which will show you the history, Dutch heritage and traditional clothing and culture of Volendam and the Netherlands (see www.volendamsmuseum.nl). Besides the interesting museum you can walk around this beautiful village, take a look at the harbor and eat the haring, a fish (traditional food of the Netherlands).

You can also wear traditional clothes and take a picture in traditional clothing with all your new friends. This will be a perfect memory of your trip to the Netherlands!

At the end of this amazing day we will have dinner in a restaurant in Volendam. After this dinner we will go back to Groningen. We will arrive at about 23.00 o'clock.
